Social media and Natural Skincare

Where do I start? Apart from being totally useless on social media, other than just watching random videos. I guess it can be seen as a good thing. A number of my clients have said that they have trouble switching away from social media, "doom scrolling" it's called, endless hours just sitting watching stuff, anything that pops up.

It's nice when you want a bit of a 5-minute break from whatever else you're doing, but it can so easily become a habit. I asked 4 past client's to set up app timers on their phones, the average time spent on social media was approximately 32 hours and 27 minutes! This is not to shame them; this is to show how so many of us are easily swept up in the lives of others. This is practically a full-time job! Imagine what we could achieve with those hours. As I mentioned, it can be a relaxing way just to switch off, but how long before switching off is then totally wired from being logged on. The bright lights, the constant feed of mind-numbing fakeness on many accounts.

Let me know in the comments what your average weekly app time is, and what you think you would rather do with that time instead.

Courses? Baking? Sewing? I recently found some recipes from many years ago when I used to make my own natural skincare. Want to try it out yourself? Here's one for aching hands, perfect for Arthritis, Gardeners, and crafters.

Have fun
